Paulson also produced the catalogue raisonne of Hogarth's Graphic Works. This copy, rather pleasingly, belonged to Art Historian Judy Egerton, who aprt from producing the catalogue raisonne on George Stubbs, wrote on The British School and sporting and animal paintings. Both volumes bear her name on the free endpaper in ink, along with the date 1971. Nice clean copies of the books, with some loss to the front panel of the jacket of volume 2, as well as various small tears and rubs.

Hogarth's Graphic Works - Third Revised Edition Compiled with a Commentary By Ronald Paulson, Paulson, Ronald ; Hogarth, William
20 Paulson, Ronald ; Hogarth, William Hogarth's Graphic Works - Third Revised Edition Compiled with a Commentary By Ronald Paulson
London The Print Room 1989 1989 0951480804 / 9780951480809 Third Edition, Revised Soft Cover Near Fine 4to. Catalogue Raisonne
SOFT COVER /PAPERBACK EDITION xviii., 479 pp. This edition of Hogarth's Graphic Works, has been completely revised, reset, and the illustrations remade. Paulson's original edition in 1964 was the first complete catalogue raisonne of Hogarth's prints, and he remains the Hogarth scholar. An authorative and useful reference work, with 267 works illustrated in excellent quality, many with more than one image, showing the variations of the different states. A couple of dents to the corners and some marking to the edges and a slight creasing to a few pages, else a nice clean copy. The isbn on this paperback edition is the same as for the hardcover, so it's likely that they are the same sheets, but that a batch were bound in the softcover format at a later date.
